Resurrecting old farm equipment

I'm rebuilding an old ISEKI TL2500 4x4. Bad ___ tractor. Only problem I have is locating parts. Most are in Europe and have to pay tariff's and duty and UPS BS paperwork charges. This thing has 18 forward speeds crazy, the best is .07 miles per hour, I can go have a beer and walk back before it goes a hundred yards.:ROFLMAO:

Nice job (y)

That's what we first used when I was a kid. Pulled with a Farmall M.

I remember riding with my dad when he was cutting hay and a fox
came out of the woods and would go along about 20 feet or so off to the side.
I never saw it get anything but dad said it was looking for mice being spooked.

That's handy when loading hay bales off the ground by yourself and your 3 year old is driving.

I am not 60 yet, but I do appreciate your video. I used to work for a guy who restored antique tractors. Every single one of them was repaired perfectly mechanically with correct parts. It was a ton of fun.

hours and hours on a farmall H and one of those mowers.
For me it was raking hay on the H. Endless mind numbing hours
Woke up once about a hundred yards into the cornfield
(corn was only a foot high or so)
Expected dad to be upset when he saw my tracks but he never said
anything. I expect he'd "been there, done that" too.

Those old tractors still run.
I recently sold a Farmall 440 ( same block as the M and Super M if I recall correctly)
that I rarely used anymore. It could sit out all winter, crummy gas. I'd jump it
with the pickup, turn the gas on at the sediment bowl, whack the carb a few
times with a hitch pin and she'd fire right up.

I despise the new electronic gizmos that are incorporated into almost everything.

Me and a buddy dug an old sickle bar mower out of the Wyoming woods today.
It was at an old homestead and brought it back and I replaced the wood pitman arm and greased it up.
In about an hour I was knocking down grass.
So much fun.
I hope the 60+ crowd likes this short vid

Very cool...and nice grapple on your FEL!

Nice!

Same. My tractor is a '79 model Ford 6600 and it's dirt simple and even a mechanical moron like myself, can keep it running most of the time.
