Browning X Bolt Action Torque Specs

Putting this out there as it doesn't seem easy to find online. I called the Browning service department today and asked them for action specific torque specifications for the X bolt.

I was told 35 inch pounds regardless of stock material (wood, carbon, injection molded).

Their own assemblers don’t follow that. My front screw was ridiculous. The monkey must have gotten a hold of the Ft/lb wrench.

I use 35 inch lbs on factory stock, 50 inch lbs on McMillan with pillars

I did 35lbs on my factory stock as well.
