As @Formidilosus mentioned… No they have not. Same problem. My problem with Browning X-Bolts has been the ejection angle. Accuracy has been great for an off the shelf rifle. Throw a RS1.2 on it and it will fail to eject about 30% of the time (6.5PRC). Hey @Formidilosus , has Browning corrected the ejection angle with version 2?
The guns become nearly unusable on dusty windy shooting days here in Arizona. The action begins easily sticking/binding with a similar feel to a Ruger American Gen 2 in same conditions but less clunky.
The trigger feels very forced in field shooting and trigger position within the trigger guard has always bothered me on brownings.
The stock is nothing to write home about and no aftermarket options that suit me.
I think if a guy used one, kept the bolt oiled properly, and was more deliberate on keeping environmentals off the gun, they’d probably serve well. I’m not that guy though.
