Browning - High Volume Shooting

I personally love my Browning’s. The a bolts just tend to fit me like a glove and shoot well. I do put quality glass/ mounts on them. I bought an x bolt micro for my wife and didn’t care for it, but that’s just me. I find a load that shoots well and stick with that for the life of the rifle. I do have the trigger worked on by my gunsmith to take out the creep and make about 2.5 pounds.

Growing up, Browning seemed to market themselves as a blue-collar premium sort of rifle. Fancier than Rem/Win, but mainly in superficial ways - fancy stocks and engraving or gold plating and whatnot. Fancy guns for people who couldn't really afford fancy guns.

I think I sort of ignored them as I got older for that reason. I have a couple sitting on the shelf behind me right now, but it's been a long, long time since I actually gave a second glance to a new one.
