Anybody ever hunt elk with them? Met them at a show and seemed like good people. So starting to ask around...

I've stayed with them twice for an unguided hunt. They provided meals and a place to stay however I didn't have them guide me. They are very nice people, no complaints about the meals and lodging.
My buddy did a guided hunt with them, he wasn't successful but he heard and saw elk nearly every day.

I stayed with them while on a DIY hunt about 6 years ago. From what I remember it was an average set up with the lodge and meals and nice people. Don’t know ( or can’t remember) how the guided hunters out in spike camps did as we were not around when they came in.

My buddie met them at the Harrisburg show.

If you were in Harrisburg maybe you talked to a guy from Montana West Outfitters. He had a very simple booth with some giant sheds. That’s your guy.

Super nice guy who personally guides all of his clients. Big bulls in a really nice area. I’ve known him for 20 years and he gets a ton of repeat clients which speaks for itself. Even hunters who don’t kill elk come back because they saw lots of elk and know how hard Paul works for them to be successful.Since he does all of his own guiding his overhead is low and so his prices are as good as it gets. As a matter of fact there were other outfitters in Harrisburg bitching about his rates.
