Broadhead

Magnus black hornet 4 blade 125 in front of 100 grain brass insert with compound,250 grain single bevel Abowyer in front of 75 grain stainless insert on recurve.
Have you tried the Abowyer out of your co pound? I was considering those if/when I move from my buzzcuts

I have not yet but my buddy shoots them out of his compound and once we got his bow tuned they fly like darts.I think he is shooting the wapiti’s

Switching over to Grizzly Stik Samurais 125g from Montec G5 100g. Wanted to give the single bevel two blades a try while being able to keep my current arrows. Depending on how it goes might go back to the Montecs, might build a heavier arrow. They seem to be grouping well so far... need to re-fletch a few arrows...

I’ll be using Rothaar Snuffer 125’s out of my stick bow.

I have several T3s and ran into a stellar deal on dead meats this year and picked up a few dozen so I am sitting fat on those. Shot a deer with a hypodermic last year nice to have a non disposable rage. I feel like rage gave me better blood trails, but with a good much diameter arrow I have pinched through deer shoulders with T3s. I think Ive killed abou 15 deer with them so far and none have made it past 100 yards, while watching the majority fall. Knock in wood haven't lost one yet with them.

I used the standard Kudu Point 125 gr last year. I switched over to the Kudu Point 125 GR Contour + for this season and build an arrow around the head vs just screwing one on to what arrow I had last year. Really impressed with the flight and the performance I had last year from the standard model was what one would hope for. I'm hoping for a little better blood trail this year out of the Contour +, however I also understand the limitations of the smaller COC head.

100 grain magnus buzzcut with bleeder so 4 blade. I have had them for 10 yrs or so and have put them through the ringer. The only original I don't have is one that broke after hitting a rock head on at 20 yrds. Others have gone through deer and look new once cleaned up.

I have been using iron will 125s and g5 dead meats for the past 5 seasons, but I only have a few of the dead meats left so I will probably try something new next season.

I know mechanicals aren’t ideal to a lot of folks. But I can’t seem to get away from shwackers on whitetails. They’re reliable. And they do some serious damage.
