Braggin Board for Fishing!

Flathead fishing has been good this year. Biggest are 47 and 62lbs. The 62 I caught while fishing alone in the rain, I tried to get some video of it with my phone propped up on the bait cooler with my pocket knife and fish scale. My wife helped salvage that pic out of my footage so I had some proof. My first attempt at self-filming or photography at 3am in the rain wasn't the best.

Caught a couple kings this weekend and a personal new species. A 4'+ sturgeon on a 30 year old 8'-6" medium power graphite rod was nerve wracking.

Picked up 37 sockeye today, which should be enough to get us through the winter.

Spent 11 hours this morning, threw everything I had at them with only a couple takedowns and nothing stuck. Had to try the evening bite to get something on the catch card today. Worth it.

4 1/2 hours to sleep and we’ll do it again! Afternoon hammock naps are a life saver.

I dont get to trout fish much here in OH so this was a pleasant surprise coming out of the Missouri near Helena. My biggest trout thus far just passing through so threw him back to grow some more.
