Floated the Holy Waters of the Au Sable in Michigan over the weekend. Caught 15 trout, got brookies, rainbows and browns. The rainbow was by far the biggest.

Late winter this morning, lost one chrome fish, not sure if it was a summer or late winter, and lost a 3rd I didn’t get to see… was feeling a bit rusty, I fished less this winter than any in the last 30yrs, but will be making it back up soon

Fishing related… I guess this goldfinch got lost on the ocean and needed a break and my head was the best looking option of all the places to land… came out of nowhere and first landed on the bill of my hat and then got more comfortable… it was literally on my head for probably 15 minutes and then set back up towards the shore… pretty funny

From Mexico a year or 2 back. Never got an official weigh in but it was about 50#s

this was the largest rainbow I ever caught, was about 24-25”s or so. Using 2 or 4# line so it was quite an experience reeling it in haha

If I remember correctly we landed 4-5 others smaller than mine of course but 3 or 4 were shark food

Great pic! Have a video from Friday of a pit bull getting pit bulled… had a big salmon shark follow a ling up while halibut fishing and bit him off right behind the pec fin. Pretty cool little clip.

Had we had him hooked, I still don’t know how we could have landed it, it was probably 8’, giant of a salmon shark

Got a day off to chase after catfish today. This was the biggest one of the morning just shy of 14 pounds. Ended up catching almost 30 total with half of them in the 9-10 pound range.
