Got my BTX setup this weekend and shot it quite a few times. It is 28.5"/70lb with 440gr arrow on the middle (intermediate) cam setting. On this setting, the bow has a pretty smooth draw cycle without a big dump into the valley. The valley is adjustable by moving the draw stops slightly. I have what I would consider a moderate valley. I am not a big fan of a deep valley that feels like you can`t easily let down. I had a Trophy Taker smackdown pro rest and TT Option 6 sight installed. In addition I am running the new Dead Center Archery carbon stabs with a side bar. No vibe on the shot and the bow is very quiet. Speed was 288fps with the 440gr arrow. That is about the same speed as my RPM 360. I have not tried the BTX on the performance setting yet as I like the setup on intermediate.

I shot one last week on the comfort setting. I though the dump and wall felt better then my 360

I looked at one yesterday and good lord those cams are huge. They literally look like dinner plates. I used to be a pretty diehard Bowtech shooter but haven't owned one since the CPXL, which I still have and like btw. Not a big fan of the ultrashort past parallel limbs with huge cams design.

I shot one here, and it's a little more harsh of a Draw cycle than my prodigy, but the grip is a million times better.

I have a Prodigy as well and I agree with your statement. The Prodigy is a great bow. If it had the same grip as the BT-X, it would be hard to top.

Not much of a "review". Sorry... I really don't mean to be cynical. That is a great bow and you're going to love it. Thanks for sharing.

If u are referring to the video, the "review" is in my text. Didn't intend the video to be a full review. Just a quick overview. If there is something particular about the bow u would like to know, I will be glad to address it. I covered the bow weight , DL, draw weight , fps, arrow weight, draw cycle, shot vibe, components. What did I miss? Lol

That's cool. Appreciate you taking the time to put together that video. I was looking at getting the same bow.

I am curious what the difference in fps is if you change it from the intermediate to performance setting. I think I'll be buying this bow. Currently I own a 82nd Airborne and I love it, its a little jumpy but I do like the bow.

Since I have a 31" draw length I wonder what the difference in performance would be at 70 lbs at the same or even the performance setting.
Thanks for the post!

You'll lose about 5 fps if you go from intermediate to performance. Which isn't bad at all. I've only shot it in the the power and intermediage setting and the difference in draw cycle between the 2 was very noticeable so I bet the perfomance setting is a very comfortable and smooth draw.
