I have used back quivers for the past 12 years or so and now with starting backpack hunting it just makes sense to switching to a bow mounted quiver. My longbow is snakeskin backed so i'd rather not use a slide on selway (the only one i have experience with)

Anyone used the great northern quiver?

I have a great northern and they work well. I'd also take a hard look at the thunderhorn boa quivers. They are by far my favorite. I have three on my longbows and love them. I use the 4 arrow model

For me, it doesn't harm my tuning. Here's a video with a 1 pc longbow and a GN quiver.

You might look at an Eagles Flight (with talon option)
very light weight, stable and does not affect shooting or your snake skin.

Thunderhorn Boa is the only ones I'll consider! They will put a snakeskin panel in the center piece of leather, maybe match your existing skins??? My wife picked her colors to match her riser and we got the quiver in no time! Great customer service!!!
