Bottom of toe pain

Just got back from a hunt, was wearing schnees beartooth mids that I have worn all summer with superfeet hike insoles. My feet generally feel fine except the bottom of my big toes on both feet…they’re bruised and super sore. Anyone else run into this?
Could be that I am not used to the terrain or a fitment issue….
Side note foot pain or not I packed out my first mule deer 2.5 miles!

I don’t have much to offer for your unique situation other than to say if it persists, see a podiatrist.

For years I ignored big toe pain as best I could. When I could not ignore it any longer, I ended up getting shots in the joint. After a day or so, life was great…until the shots were no longer effective.

Currently I am recovering from my second joint fusion. While I have no regrets and look forward to pain free feet, this recovery is absolutely interfering with hunting season…among other aspects of life.

I hope your issues get worked out sooner rather than later.

Have since seen a podiatrist. He said mechanically my feet are fine. Suggested it could have been from callous build up. He if seeing if my insurance will cover custom orthotics but he said my super feet were fine. My best guess is I have tender feet and should try minimalist shoes to toughen them up
