I’m thinking of trying something this year. Once I get to my spot taking off my boots. Putting a hot hand or toasties toes in and wearing a pair of fleece socks. Is this something anyone has tried

I have taken off my boots and thrown them on with just my wool socks and been fine. Depends on how cold it gets where you are and how cold natured you are. Just the added circulation without your boots is great.

I do that every winter while hunting deer in the tree stand. Works great to keep my feet warm.

Highly recommended! I like the article shield better cause they role up in pack and don’t feel funny when standing

I bought a cheap pair of down booties off eBay. Took a month to get there but literally weigh a few ounces and are toasty!

I've had a insulated pair for a WHILE, and they do work.

May have to try that this year. Got a pair of Western Mountaineering Flash down booties for the tent, and sure seems like they would work for this too.
