Books on elk behavior

Im looking to do some reading on elk and elk behavior. Does anybody know of any good books about elk as an animal and not books about elk hunting? Appreciate the help!

i only have hunting books. it sounds like your after more of biology of Elk books.

Elk of North America: Ecology and Management is THE textbook.
Some sections are dry, but worth every penny if you can find a copy.

Depends on if the class is this semester or not. They have been known to fetch a premium used but can be had for 45 new if the class starting
