Just wanted to get the word out that BLM is in the process of acquiring about 30,000 acres in central Wyoming that is currently privately owned. The acquisition would also open up about the same acreage in public lands too. The property is on the North Platte River downstream of Alcova Reservoir, and would be an awesome spot to hunt/fish. They are currently seeking input for this process, so if you would like to weigh in on this, the link is below. (My comment was a single sentence about how I think BLM should complete this acquisition because it would greatly expand public access to valuable recreational lands in central Wyoming)
