Well, not exactly but I came across this the other day when I was organizing some photos. This was me in 1966. I was 9 years old and hunting with my dad in southern Oregon near Klamath Falls. He showed me the ways and always took me with him and it inspired my hunting passion that I still have today. He always said, "you can never take too many pictures" and this was from a kodachrome slide. So, when you are all in the high country in your wanderings-----take plenty of photos.

That's so cool and great advice on taking lots of photos! Back before digital I didn't take a lot of photos of hunting or fishing ventures and now all these years later I regret it immensely.

Great buck and memories! Yes take pictures, lots of pictures. What good are these posts without pictures. Only wish I would have taken more over the years.

I started taking pictures of my son and my wife when we were camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, or just general messing around out in the woods. I made a photo album for him a couple years ago which I still add photographs to. He loves it and is one of his most cherished gifts! That coming from a High School kid two years ago! I know everything is digital any more, but I bet if you print pictures out and still put them into albums that you will look at the albums more with family and friends then you ever will on the computer.

What a great memory, it's so fun to look back on the past. I feel like with the digital age making it so easy to post pics online I don't print anymore photos. Need to start making that a habit again
