Gosh, I can't read, now I won't read 6 pages of stuff. I read 3 pages.

1) Don't let someone else tell you to buy more expensive sunglasses if you loose them. You know how you are.

2) Everyone's faces are different, what works for one won't work for another if you are protecting your eyes. (I use a full wrap around - Old Oakley's M (1999) frame and a newer pair of Maui Jim's (2012/13)---- now each pair I had to go to a store and try on a whole bunch to make sure they didn't let light in from the top, sides nor underneath (every walk on the beach and have full glare coming off white sand, or walk through snow with a full sun?) (The M frames even have several different lens combos, only one works for me!) I was younger and bought Ray Bans 1989 - yep still have them -, the aviator style, those things do not protect my eyes on the sides. They are relegated to the truck, if I happen to leave my other sunglasses, I have a pair I can throw on, better than nothing.

3) I have a knock around pair of Wiley X, had Am$%^& ship about 3 different pair Wiley, went with the ones that fit my face, . I bought those to use while shooting, playing around at the hunting camp, general chore work around our farm, etc. I'm not messing up expensive sunglasses while working! I'll buy a decent pair that is polarized and ballistic type, but I'm not spending a ton when these may be scratched by limbs, wood chips, etc. I think I paid $50. They started messing up after about a year, the area around the frame, they sent me a new pair.

4) I hate glass sunglasses, way too heavy. My nose does like that heaviness. I use polycarb. only. Wear glass sunglasses for hours and poly carb., I can tell a difference in an hour or so.

5) Maui Jim's are the best for me, fishing (fresh and salt), driving, on the beach, etc. I can't tell you to buy them, it's what works for me.

$5 walmart brown polarized. Frameless light weight, repels metal foreign bodies off 4.5” grinders well. Been using offshore and inshore in high glare environments for the last 10 yrs, 71y/o been fishing and recreating in high glare environments for all of my life. Opthamologists and optometrists in my family say my eyes are fine, used Action Optics, Smith, Maui Jims in the past got tired of losing overboard. Would say if I was blue eyed would buy the best darkest available, macular degeneration is real.

I've worn Smith's for several years now, for every day and for fly fishing. Much prefer their glass lenses, but they stopped making those.
I just bought another pair of Smiths with glass Chromapop lenses this year.
That makes my third pair with glass lenses.
I also have a pair of Maui Jims with glass lenses that I bought in 2014 and they still look great.
I feel sorry for people who can't buy nice glasses because the break or lose them.
Good lenses make for a better day outdoors.

I lose and break sunglasses. I bought some Goodr sunglasses and they are excellent. They stay on my face well but don't look too sporty. They held up great until I closed a car door on them.
