Offering my Blaser R8 Ultimate receiver, black, with adjustable comb and recoil pad, including bolt housing and standard bolt. Just need to add R8 barrel and magazine.

Has been on one hunt and some range work.

$3350.00 net to me, shipped to your FFL in Continental US. Coordinate payment directly.

Retail new, this is a $5183 value ($3428 for Ultimate stock w/adjustable comb, $567 for Bolt housing, $491 for standard bolt, $697 adjustable recoil pad) - that's a 35% discount with no taxes to pay!

Selling as this is my 3rd R8 stock and to finance binocular upgrade...of which I'm willing to trade for as new Swaro 14x52 NL Pure binoculars.

Just to clarify as I’ve had a few questions:

This has everything to run any cartridge based off of .308 Win “standard” bolt head (30-06, 270 Win, etc).

All you would need to add is a barrel and the corresponding magazine insert to match the barrel chambering (usually included with barrel if you buy a Blaser barrel); the magazine insert snaps onto top of trigger group. This configuration effectively shortens the rifle by 4” compared to any other rifle where the trigger sits in front of trigger group…and of course add a scope mount and scope.

If you want to run a .223 or magnum based cartridge, then would need to buy the appropriate bolt and swap it with the current standard bolt head (easy to do; this is a very modular rifle).

The best value for scope mount is an Innogun Innomount for R8 (or their picatinny rail). I’ve bought mine from Titanium Gunworks. I could be persuaded to sell one of mine (I currently have NF NX8 4-32x50, Credo 2-10x36, Tenmile 3-18x44 and SWFA 5-20x50 sitting in R8 mounts).

As for barrels, the gold standard are Blasers. However, UM are currently working on using an Akila Bear8 barrel extension to mate a barrel they chamber for me. This option opens up any chambering and twist you want. There is another gunsmith in Texas who is doing similar work using the Akila. I have no experience with him but he has reportedly been fixing barrels made by another US based gunsmith specifically made for R8.

Let me know if you have additional questions…

Very tempting.

Anxious to hear if UM will offer custom Blaser barrels. I’m in a holding pattern since Elmer hung up his tools…too much bad press on any of the others for me to take a chance.
