Black ovis/camofire going out of business?

Damned if we do, damned if we don’t,

what I want is some sheep that are cheap, and don’t cost me a heap or make my brain sad when I’m trying to sleep…
I am calling it a night but if I wake up in the morning and one of the mods haven’t changed your name to Little Bo Peep, I am filling a formal complaint with the powers that be.

Do you have a link to what you’re reading? I’m curious now.

This is just one. You can plug it into Chat GPT and find more stuff. The 5 year study started in 2024 and will go until 2029.

I'm just going to start making underwear out of tanned buffalo skin from now on. I don't know what else to do anymore.

I will be honest. I didn't even know this was a thing. I just did some research and now I'm deep into the 5 year Montana study on this.

Thanks for the heads up.
Honestly, grown in mt wool is a good schtick if folks don’t ask more about it. Sounds good at first.

Well that sucks! I’ve been waiting for the Crispi Kenai 13W to come in stock. Guess that’s not going to happen anymore.

Anyone have a nice pair or 13w they’d like to trade for my nice pair of 13 regular?

Yeah you keep hammering this, if that was the case they could have easily adjusted prices and let the customer decide, but it seems there was decline far beyond tariffs
If your sales are struggling to generate enougg revenue - you probably cant raise prices

I did notice some of the products fit was off, I ordered a pair of the beavercreek merino bottoms, waist height was really low, had to return. The soft shell pants size was off as well, I did size up and they fit, and are nice pants. They may have a bunch of gear made with sizes off and not selling, definitely not the cause but could be one more hit that adds up.

I guess I'm unaware of the link between Black Ovis and Crispi. I'm not following how Black Ovis closing means that you can't get Crispi boots anymore. Don't they sell Crispi at Scheels?

"BlackOvis has ceased operations.

We're sorry for the disruption in business while we work through this transition. More information coming soon."

Maybe they were bought out?

They were the primary (only?) importer when Crispi was really entering the US market. I’d be surprised if they were a middle man for scheels, midwayUSA, etc still.
