Black diamond scopes

Has anyone tried them I’ve been thinking about buying one for my new tikka. But I am curious to know if I’d be better off spending the same amount on a used leupold or vortex. Not wanting to spend over 300.

In that price range, look at Burris, Minox, Leupold, or SWFA fixed power. These are ones that I know aren't made in China. Not sure about others. Pretty sure Black Diamond are made in China since they look identical to other brands that I know are Chinese.

I had a first generation Black Diamond 5-25x. The scope had good glass but lacked a zero stop and had a stiff power selector ring. For the money, I would buy a Burris or look to Meopta.
