Bitcoin

I’m kicking myself now. I had an entire bitcoin when it was $15,000. I couldn’t handle the volatility at the time, so I got out after a couple weeks and broke even.
Don't feel bad. I bought 2 BTC for 8k each and sold them later that year for 4k each. I took a year off and then began buying again. My avg price is now 10x what I sold for but I'm still up 250%.

Insane to think about…

And Vivek Ramaswamy's new company Strive is raising 2 billion dollars to buy BTC. More BTC treasury companies popping up every day. I wonder who would sell knowing what's likely coming? I suppose if I had got in back in 2010 when BTC was a dollar I might sell a few.

I think there will be some “treasuries” that sell bc they don’t fully understand what they have, they are looking for fiat returns and stock price pumps. It’s the zombie companies that could cause a dip, but the individuals, companies, nation states who do know will eat it up the dip quickly.

Total novice here, but I keep hearing about XRP - How is it different from or the same as Bitcoin? Is it in competition with Bitcoin or the other crypto currencies?
I guess I'm looking for advice/opinions about possibly throwing maybe 5-10k of disposable funds at it while it is currently at a couple bucks and just sit on it and see what it happens. Does it appear to have a future? Does it have the potential to be another Bitcoin in the future.

BTC max supply 21 million
XRP max supply 100 BILLION!!

No competition

Wondering when this finally blows up. Still zero underlying value. It's great...until it isn't.

Yeah me too, been waiting for the price to blow upward for the past few years. I guess the 2.1 trillion market cap isn’t enough to make it move…..probably going to $0 market cap

My poor son trashed a Laptop that had like 3-5 Bitcoin on it that he used to buy stuff in some online games, I think "Dragon's Tail" and "Minecraft", back in 2013, he played all the time. It was $20-$30 dollars a piece. Today , I just looked, it is $105,905.00 per bit coin! Lot of money sitting on a hard drive sitting in a landfill somewhere. That is life changing,

Buy Bitcoin. Do nothing. It's going to 10x over the next 6-10 years. XRP is a shitcoin.

The total BTC supply is 21 million but minus lost BTC and estimates have it closer to 17 million.
