I sold yesterday. Will wait for the bounce and buy back.

I always say I'm going to sell off some crypto when on a run. I was real close to selling off ETHE when it was up 60+% a few months back, but, I always end up comparing my self managed, crypto heavy portfolios performance which, on a run can be up 60-70% for the year, to my 401k's performance and it makes me fancy myself as such a financial genius that I resist the urge. I have a self managed brokerage account that is 24% bitcoin with an average buying price of $22,000. Its tough to sell that off without being in dire straits as I don't expect we'll ever see a price anywhere near that low again.

The context is tricky. If you've been in Bitcoin/crypto for years, even just a few years, its easy to convince yourself that the golden era of buying in has already passed us by. The reality is, Bitcoin is just barely mainstream, If ETFs are a form of mainstream legitimacy, we're not even 1 year in. On the other hand, unless one has serious investment cash to play with or is not the least bit risk averse, the idea of owning an entire bitcoin is going to be out of reach.

Good for you for making some moves and taking some profits. Its taken some gonads to be in this game for awhile and it also takes some gonads to take profits and buy back in.
