Just a set of 10s for elk they are pretty big and easy to see. I would like to get a set of 18s for dedicated glassing days when I want to see a little more detail

I do not know anyone who only glasses primarily with a single spotter, unless it is a BTX. I know people who glass with two spotters connected on a plate.

Glassing for Coues, mulies, speed goats, bear, elk, etc.

Swaro 12s, 15s are the predominant followed by Razor HD 18.

Not a spotting scope fan, so I picked up a Razor 18x56 a while back? Still deciding on a tripod/adaptor assembly- so for me the jury is still out on the ‘big eyes?’
Tell you one thing, the 18s are virtually impossible for me to hand-hold for any length of time. To be expected I suppose.

Started with 15s and now adding spotters to get closer looks. The 15s aren't the best, but a gateway into their utility. Looking at upgrading soon. Totally viable to do.

10.5x44s and the little kowa spotter on a tripod. I had 15’s and came to the conclusion that it is dumb to carry two binos and just the 15’s weren’t versatile enough.

I run 18x mavens off a tripod for probably 90% of my glassing and switch to my spotter for pictures of really far stuff or my 10x RF binos when i’m in killing distance. I’m usually glassing 600+ to 2ish miles and honestly can’t imagine going back to not having a big bino set up.

Elk hunting I use 10x42’s range finding binos on tripod, then switch to spotter if need to get closer look.
Mule deer hunting, I have 10x42 range finding binos on chest, 18x56 binos on tripod, then spotter if need to get closer look.
