Binocular fitment (distance between eyes)

This may seem or sound like petty bs.. but I’ve been having some issues of recent and had thoughts to make something but wanted to see if anyone had had the same issue or thoughts.

My issue is with the spacing of the binocular eye pieces. Inconsistently having to adjust the spacing on them due to being in my harness, on my side, on my pack, on the ground, bumped around in the truck, etc.
Some 10+ years ago I had a pair that I could “lock” the eye spacing (this pair ended up being left of a truck after a duck hunt unfortunately).

Is there a product that will help keep the eye spacing? Yet not interfere with someone who does or doesn’t wear glasses perhaps?

Also now raising children - my kids like to sit and glass when on vacation or hikes, my youngest (3yo) has the hardest time setting it herself (and keeping it)..

Any products or binoculars that still offer a “lock” on the soacing?….

Any other brands you know of with similar features? I’ll look around but this is great, will definitely use on the vortex ones I have.. wondering if there is something “universal” that may work with the my sig and gpo binos

I don’t see anything or anywhere to tighten
- sit zulu6 has resistance but still loves, vortex diamondback hd +razor and GPO 10x33 has some resistance but doesn’t lock

See if there is a little escutchion you can pop off to get to the nut underneath. Same place you would install a tripod stud on the front of the hinge.

Just tighten it down. Most have a screw or nut behind a pop out cover.
