Has anyone made a pouch between the pack and the stays on their bikini like the Stoneglacier has?
This season I used some straps and had my bladder in there similar to the SG and it was great and convenient. I want to make a similar setup without adding much weight so I thought I would ask if anyone else has tried this.

I with the help of Gobbler will be doing this mod soon so any suggestions or tried and true/fails would be great to know.

Thanks

Not sure what the stone glacier is like but here is one we (I designed my wife sewed) put together. It snuck through the frame so I had to lace up some para cord.

Thanks SHTF that looks like a good one. Gobbler on here made one for me and I will post some pics when I get a chance.
The one he made connects up at the top where you hang the gen2 meat bag from and than hangs down securing to two loops on the frame.

Interesting idea. Does the pack compress the pouch a lot? How hard is it to remove the reservoir if you have a full pack on? I am planning to run a 3L Platypus as a dirty reservoir with an inline filter. With that, I would want to access the pouch fairly easily when the pack is loaded up.

Yes I am getting the Timberline 1 bag. What if I am running the frame without the Bag? Say I have a panel and some pouches.... or just the frame and a cargo chair..

The pouch I made I will be using strictly without a bag on the frame only with a small daypack/ compression panel I also made. It would be huge PIA to use with a full bag setup.

The bag we made is setup to hang between the frame and the bag and NO need to remove the bag to get to the bladder.
The purpose of the bladder pouch is for easy access. It slides in and out of the pouch easily once you take the pack off your back. It also works to carry the bladder when just running the frame in just about any setup.

A quick disconnect on the bite valve and one on a pump eliminates the need to remove anything when filing a bladder.
I made a similar bag pouch out of an old Levi's pant leg. Problem on the bikini is you also need to web between the frame rails. Not a big deal but if you don't the bladder will push thru.
