Biggest ladder stand?

Took longer than I thought but:

In this photo the front looks 8’ wide. It’s actually only 7’, but I didn’t trim the last foot off the end of the plywood. Just left it sticking out to make it slightly easier to climb in unseen.

Legit Q--any way to level that stand?

One of the spots im considering putting an elevated blind is kind of on a down slope in a hedge row, and wondering if they have levelers?

Or if the metal platform ones with pop up blinds on top may be better for leveling.....🤔🤔

That one is level - the cameraman isn't that great though. :)

When I was building it, the ground underneath is was unlevel by several inches over the width of the base, so I got it close by chainsawing two of the legs a few inches (easier when nothing but the base/platform is built yet) then fine-tuned from there by twisting the legs in-out as I had a good bit of play, the way the legs sit in the brackets. Once it was level I concreted the legs by building a cardboard box around each leg and filling them with quikrete.

Can't tell it from the picture, but I also dug a posthole before construction started, and anchored a loop of rebar into that hole, then filled it with quikrete, to create an anchor point, then when the stand was finished I used some 3/8 cable and chain and a turnbuckle to anchor it to the ground. If the turnbuckle didn't fail I think it would withstand a moderate tornado before blowing over.
