Biggest buck to date

Man oh man, i had the whole story typed up and I texted my wife back and it disappeared haha, so you guys get the quick and dirty, my biggest buck to date. Scored 149 on the dot without his broken brow tine i didn't want to get a 150 anyway... i had shot my biggest buck with a recurve earlier this year in Michigan and had planned to get that mounted until i shot this guy.

This buck i got was my 3rd encounter with him. Hit him high double lung, and didn't have a pass through because i hit him in the shoulder, tracked him that night, lost blood..went back in the next morning only to learn we walked right by him.. crazy sleepless night. Lucky the coyotes didnt get him.

Congrats. I grew up in MI and there were no bucks like this back then. The philosophy was generally shoot anything with antlers. Guess the hunting is different now.

Ha, it's getting better but only the buck/doe combo came from Michigan..the big guy above came from a state near Colorado
