Has anyone used Big Timber Outfitters out of Salmon, ID?

They show most of their deer under a pivot, at least that seems like a dose of honesty rather than making double sure there's nothing ''hayfield related'' in a picture of a dead buck in a hayfield.

Did you end up using them? The area they hunt seems decent and they have outfitter tags that you could hunt solo on if you didn’t harvest while in the drop camp

She lost her husband a few years ago and has run the operation pretty much on her own. She seems to be extremely hard working and has a pretty good crew who to produce results. That is nice country and we have hunted it successfully on our own in the past - but that has been several years ago.

We got one down so far. Been hot and hard hunting, cooler today so see how the evening and tomorrow goes.

I am interested how your hunting goes as well. I am looking into going though an outfitter in that area.

Hunting went pretty good. First few days were miserably hot so made it tough . We mostly used hounds and had great races every morning . Ended up getting two bears. My buddy got his Monday and I got mine this morning !
