Just got back from my trip with Big River New Foundland at Middle Lake lodge. GREAT HUNT. Harvested a big bull moose. Saw a lot of moose just not at the lake so had to work for them. Also saw bigger bulls than I took just didn't work out (hunting). It was a REAL hunt and exactly what I was looking for. Glassing, stalking, calling, and successfully took a bull moose. Accommodiations were great. Staff was awesome; this includes the the office staff, the manager, the cook, and the guides. My guide did what it took to get me on a bull. Trip of a lifetime.

I saw a bear and will be back with Big River for him next.......
Also saw 3 bull caribou with large racks / dual front shovels.

Smells like a fishy post to me. I may be wrong but there is just a negative review just posted about said outfitter and now you just create an account the same day and write your first post about said outfitter being a positive one. No pictures and include points being positive about what was written in the negative review....HMMMM

With no pics? C'mon man... seems as legit as the spray painted "Free Candy" on the rusty white van with curtained windows.

I think the lack of response back from the OP seals the deal that this is a fishy post most likely from the outfitter or a friend of. I just looked and the outfitter also made an account on here today

Pathetic

Sounds like the outfit is trying to save face, and like has been pointed out with the members just joining and not responding back...sounds like an inside job.

I’m not sure what happened to my reply / post with the pics. Yes, first post for me, and I did have the 54 hour drivetime back to Tx. We drove so we could bring the meat back. It does surprise me how quickly some people will post back claiming things they really have no way of knowing. Sure does make me want to stay on this forum……

Trip was great, guide put me on two bulls, but we had to work for them. This was a more extreme hunt than my moose hunt in BC but I did have horses then. Lodge and food was excellent. If anyone wants specifics on the hunt or the drive back with meat let me know.

Looks like a freezer in truck bed. Did you have meat processed there or bring it back to process at home. Thanks
