My daughters buck from 2014 when she was nine. Deer was 7 or 8 years old. Biggest body i had ever seen and this was early Sept youth. Couldn't imagine what he would have looked like at the 1st of November.

A couple Ontario bucks for you. I have lots more - sadly mostly just trail camera shots! The local “big buck” competition is typically won by a deer that weighs about 250 lbs dressed on a certified scale.

So far? I'd say Ever. Gheezus! We used to kill some tipping the scales around 230 dressed back in the Ontario haydays, but that is insane.

Here's 177" and change he was only 264 in the round didn't get a net weight .

160”er if I recall correctly I believe this one dressed at 230. First deer pictured was aged at 7.5 then 5.5 and 4.5 yo in order.

Figured I’d drop back in this thread and share pictures of the big bodied buck *pics 1 & 2* in the original thread starter I shared. Killed Halloween night 2025. He was for sure 8 or older & had 4 years of history. Anyone else have luck this season knocking down one of their mature hit-listers?

ETA: Didn’t get him on a scale as he was quartered & packed out

I killed the above buck on November 10th a three years ago, and he dressed 185 pounds.

I was hunting the below buck. Didn’t kill him that year, or the following. Finally killed him last year on November 30th, he had a live weight of 156. 7.5 year old buck on the decline and the end of the rut. It’s wild how much they change over time.

2024 (clearly bigger than the dressed buck at 185)

2026 (live weight of 156)

Live weight ungutted? What state? He’s a stud buck for sure! The rut can really take it out of them.
