This was about 10 years ago. Doe whitetail, Marlin Guide Gun 45-70, 405gr mold cast at 436 with a mild load of 4227, DRT. This is the entry side. I lost the picture of the exit but basically flip it with less bloodshot and further forward. This was after laying on the entry side for about 2 hours while I looked for her friend that I believe tried to cross a creek in the swamps and got swept away. I never found that one unfortunately and later found that the front sight had shifted. It wears Skinner's now.

I was on a time crunch so didn't get any pictures of the doe that came in after I got this one field dressed and was about to drag her out. She was a rare perfectly broadside deer at about 20 yards. I hit her with a Hornady slug through both shoulders and she ran about 25 yards before tipping over.

Last year, same patch of woods. Doubled up (accidentally) with my Muzzleloader. I was really confused because I only saw one deer at 15 yards. Aimed just off the center of her chest and shot, saw her run right to left, waiting for her to fall when she started blowing and came back to the same spot as I finished reloading. Second shot I saw the kick and she plowed for about 10 yards. The first was laying in her tracks. Pics are from the first doe.
