What is the best box out there for a full size pickup.
Want it to open and close without having to go to both sides.
Doesn't have to be the biggest but does need to hold shovels, chains, and tools.
Thanks

I have a Better Built SEC, so far so good, locks still work, lid closes easily and opens with either handle still. I've had it about a year so time will tell how it holds up.

I know that Delta makes nice boxes too.

One thing I noticed when shopping, was that "Farm & Supply" stores had higher quality ones for sale than Home Depot, Lowes etc.

That thing looks legit.

About $200 more than I paid if I remember right.

The zoro looks good.
I'm a little leary of the push button release. Is that just because they suck on cheap boxes?

Get a weather guard. They are expensive but worth every penny. I've had a few protechs and have one right now on my work truck but the weather guard is better.

I don't think there is a "best"....but I narrowed my search down to Highway Products in Medford, Oregon and Pro-tech in vancouver, WA. I went with Highway Products but it was a coin flip. And you will have to sell a kidney to buy one new.

I have two Weather guard truck boxes. They are very well made and would highly recommend them .
