Getting ready to load up some 22 arc bolt gun loads. Bullets will be 80gr Hornady, 77gr tmk and 71gr McGuires. I’m trying to stay away from the cfe and lever because where I hunt and shoot for practice it’s normal to have big temp swings…can be 40’s in the mornings and 80’s or even 90’s by late afternoon.
Varget, N540, 4895 were where I was going to start. Are there any other go to powders for the 22arc and these class bullets. I’ve looked at load data but don’t currently have any of these powders on hand so would like to narrow my focus if there is a go to powder for the arc like h4350 in a creedmoor. Velocity is a consideration. Looking to be north of 3000fps in 22” barrel.
