Best RF Binos. Swaro, Lecia, Vectors, Revics?

I’ve got a few years of use now with these and have developed confidence in the solutions. Weather practice or hunting I’ve made a habit of keeping shooter open and current for DA and temp and constantly comparing to shooter and it’s always been consistent. Since this is my hunting bino i want good glass too which these certainly have. Aside from a spotter or 15s in the pack.

Ranging in general has been good and any difficulty I’ve had out to 4-500 yards locally has been me getting the animal or ground at feet bracketed well. Glassing animals at 8-900 has always been ground targeting. No ranging animal specific to fire round. I have not weirdly been in inclement weather while needing to range, so I’ll want to vet that out and see.

How good is the AB on the Geovid pro,and is the glass good enough for long tripod sessions and then switching to a small spotter after game is found?
Also anybody have any experience with the Meopta?

The data is very good. Now better with the AB upgrade!

The glass is as good as swaro just a bit different i the coatings they use. Feel like swaro picks up colors differently. nothing bad. just different.

Leicas are heavy but to glass with them for 8 hours straight, which I have, I want quality glass and a good steady platform.

I’ve used the ZEISS 10x42 rf for a couple years hunting and a few NRL matches. Everyones eyes are different but to me Glass is great. Ballistic solutions have been accurate to past 1100 yds and match my sig kilo range finder.

How would a pair of Revic Acura rangefinding binos compare in glass quality to something in the class of Mave B1.2 binos or Vortex Razor HDs, all things being equal? 10x42s. Im just curious if there is a downgrade in glass quality with the rangefinding binos.

I have the Sig Gen 2 10k’s, Leica Geovid Pro AB + (brown pair) and the Zeiss RF’s
It seems the Zeiss for whatever reason have been getting left out in the last year or so.

The Zeiss have the best glass. Definitely. The Leica is right there as well, but the Zeiss are still better. The Sigs have the best RF no doubt.

The Zeiss RF and Leica are absolutely identical with the dope for each rifle even while running a different program. I think the Zeiss have a slightly better RF.
I played with the Swaro TA but not enough to give a great comparison but enough to know I didn’t like the range finder.

I'm looking to replace my bino + rangefinder setup with RF binos. I primarily hunt eastern appalachian public and small farms in semi rural areas but I am planning some future western hunts as well. I have never looked through top end glass and I don't intend to spend long hours glassing for game hundreds of yards away.

Low light detail sub 300 yards and quality rangefinder are my current top priorities based on my most common uses during archery/muzzleloader/rifles seasons. I need to be able to quickly identify button bucks from does, count points on antlers and get a range reading in thick, wet timber and dead brown vegetation on overcast/foggy days 30 min +- sunrise/set.

I've been looking at Leica Geovid R in 10x42 or 8x56 as well as the Revic BLR10b 10x42. I'd like to hear what from those familiar with these models would recommend for my use. Would your answer change if I wanted to take them on a western hunt where longer views/shots are more common?

If I were in your shoes I'd absolutely try the GPO 10x50. They are superb.

It seems for people who have used both, the main benefits of the Geovid R over the Revic are marginally better optical quality and lower cost. With the current deal on the Revic units bringing them much closer to the Geovid cost I wonder if I would really appreciate the difference in optical quality? It seems like the rangefinder is more robust on the Revic model.

How does the rangefinder compare to the models I am considering? Especially in wet or foggy conditions.

I've owned/used the Fury AB, Sig 3000, GPO 10x50, and 3 different sets of 3200.coms. The Lieca's suck hind tit in the RF game. The GPO's are the best combo of optical quality and RF performance of anything I've tried, and no, I haven't tried the Revic and won't.

I have experience with both the Leica and Swaro rangefinding binos. With hunting being your main focus and top tier glass being a priority I think anything below those two brands will be a disappointment. The revic has a great feature set, the vectronix is very sophisticated for the PRS pro, the new sig appears to be a great value, the Furys are a great value. All 4 of which will fall short in the glass department. I had the Geovid HD-Bs, the glass color and clarity was awesome. The rangefinder left a little to be desired. I sold them and was either going to go with the new AB+ or the newer EL Ranges. Both have very useable rangefinders with ballistic software for shooting solutions in hunting situations. And the glass is top notch. I ended up with the EL Ranges.

Again, don’t over look the Zeiss RF.
I still have my Leica Geovid Pro AB+, my 10x42 Zeiss RF and 8x54 Zeiss RF.
The 8x54 Zeiss RF are noticeably brighter than the others. And the rangefinder between it and the Leica are about identical.
