Ya, I'm a drop-away guy but the Whisker Biscuit is truly under rated. Whenever I head to the mountains I carry one to camp with me in case of failure of my drop away. It is a simple swap and a quick tune if my drop away can't be field expediently fixed.People hate on biscuits but man itās silent compared to the vapor trail. Guessing it was getting louder since it was cracked? Idk but since I normally hunt with the stickbows off the shelf, Iām staying with the biscuit!!!
Nice! good to know. I ended up finding a used vapor trail i8x to put on my lift x., and a pro v as a backup for cheap.Vapor trail sent me an upgraded 7075 gen7. Awesome copy who stood behind their product after all!
Out of curiosity why?Imo hamskea takes the cake for drop aways.
I am a hamskea convert; they really arenāt much different in size vs a vapor trailāat least not to my eye. I guess theyāre bigger than a QAD, but to me itās not a concern.Mostly because the āwhale tailā seems much larger/awkward than the V of the vapor trail.
They are bombproof as far as dropaways go. Driving off the bottom limb is out of the way and super reliable, even in sub zero conditions. I donāt care for the rests that use springs to pull the arm down, it seems like a more complicated solution looking for a problem. The cage on a hamskea is all rubberized and your arrow isnāt going to fall out; so to me it doesnāt matter if itās held tightly in the launcher arm in the up position.Out of curiosity why?
