And go! What are your go to’s? I feel like a lot of the brands are WILDY overpriced. Let’s be honest, a lot of this stuff is made in China and people buy into the marketing. A well designed hunting shirt should not cost hundreds of dollars. What’s a good brand for the working man that is well built?

Sitka seems to be the easiest to get for 40-50% off if you watch Camofire or Sierra Trading Post. Also Eddie Bauer pants, tees, and down gear is sweet. They run 50% off all the time

I have always just watched for sales and added the times I need at the right price. Don’t get stuck in brands. If you are looking for lightweight pants, then keep an eye out for those. Most everything will be decent quality. If next is base layers, then focus on the item you need. I have found most of them to all be the same and probably made in the same factory in China.

Look at picking up FL, Sitka, Kryptek, Kuiu when on sale. Look at their sites plus CamoFire, Hunt of the Day, etc. Some store-brands used to offer great value but a lot of them now are close to the cost of top-tier hunting brands yet do not necessarily deliver the quality or functionality.

I am using Wrangler pants more each year as they offer great value. I can trash them just as quickly as the revered Attack pants.

Kings in Utah have some very good camo at a decent price.They will offer it on sale fairly often.I feel camo is often overrated,and over priced.I understand in Alaska,your life might hang in the balance,but here in Az.I often use carhart pants in brown,tan or black,and camo shirts or old school plaid green and black checkered shits.
