Best puffy? Grumman, Forclaz MT500, Others

Wanted a rab electron pro but that mt100 is tempting.
Anyone try the Mt500 or is the 100 the one to get.

I have the rab electron pro and the mt100.

The mt100 is awesome, and all I need for September elk hunting and 80% of casual use in the winter.

The electron pro is a whole other beast—it’s super warm, like sweat-in-20-degree-weather warm—but bulky. Too warm to bring in September but perfect for cold winter sits. I have never been cold wearing it.

I don’t have the mt500. At that price it seems worth a shot. Though I got the rab for under $230, there are good sales to be had.

I've had the 500 and the 100. Like everyone else has said: the 100 is THE jacket to get in that light puffy category for that price point. The 500 is definitely nice for the cost, too. Slightly warmer than the 100, but I wouldn't compare it to some of the heavier hitters (Gruman, Katabatic Tin Cup, OV Alpine Vantage, etc.).
