Hi guys. Looking for a 3-12x scope, main purpose is whitetail hunting from blinds overlooking bean fields. Primarily concerned with clarity/quality of glass and low light performance. Plex-type reticle, don't need a busy "Christmas tree." Illuminated reticle dot would be nice but I don't think it can be had in this price range. Scope weight isn't really a critical factor.
Anyway, after doing a bit of research here are what I think are some good options I've come upon:
Trijicon Huron 3-12x40 for $500
Swaro Z3 4-12x50 for $730
Zeiss Conquest V4 3-12x44 for $630
Anyone have firsthand experience with any of those scopes, especially if you've had more than one of them and could directly compare them? Also, is there anything else in that price range (or under) that might be as good or better?
Thanks in advance.
