Best Most accurate range finder?

Looking for recommendations that will reliably read and provide angle compensation for out to 1500 yards.

I’m asking Ms. Claus for a kestrel 5700 as well

Don’t care too much about cost as I figure buy once cry once

Is this going to be for hunting? Because I find rangefinder binos much easier to be accurate with, than a hand held.

If it’s going to be mounted on a tripod for long or extreme long range work then disregard.
