Best low light 8x42 (or 8.5x42) binos for low light?

Want to stay in the 8x magnification range because I inherited "essential" tremors and a bump up to 10x shows the shake noticeably more.
I probably use binoculars 100 days a year for whitetails/cotote/wild dog hunting, so I want to stay at 42mm size and fairly lightweight.
Viewing 20 to 350 yards, but usually max of 250 yards. Legal shooting for whitetail in South Carolina is an hour before sunrise and hour after sunset. I'll stretch the budget to the $3k range if there's good reason, but would like to stay in the $2k range.

Swaro NL pure if you can swing it! I’ve only looked through the 12x42 model but they are phenomenal. I think they have the biggest field of view you will find in 8’s. I have a buddy with meopta meostar binos, and they are very very close, but are a reasonable price. For my money it would be meopta.

If $3k, go all out and get the Swaro NL Pures. That said, I don’t think they’re worth the extra money over the ELs (though the 8.5x42 ELs are getting harder to come by!)

The brightest (not necessarily the best in all categories) imo is ZEISS fl 8x42. Can easily see animals in a cut field in the dead of night.

Just bit the bullet and ordered NL Pure 8x42 and a forehead rest. Thanks guys
