Excellent "modern" westerns. Great characters.
Final shootout scene in Open Range is a great one too.

Hell Or High Water is one movie I will always recommend to people looking for suggestions. It’s such a great film

The Drop with Tom Hardy. Last scene is good, but the whole ending is great.

I beg for forgivness for bringing this back up. Hunting is slow soooo,,,,,,, I love all the tuarintino movies (but heightful eight sucks) And I will say sorry once again for mispelling the thread title --- seen should be scene ---

Anyway, All the taritino guys thumbs up. His favorite movie was the good , the bad and the ugly. All Italian actors, but the three main guys (Eli Wallach, Loyd Vancleef, and Clint), Serge Leon, Ennio Merconnie,???????, No romance, three alphas chasing gold. An incredible score. Made in four years years before I was born. Movies should be made this way.

So if you think about what the once upon a time in hollywood was based about, it goes to serge. ( Iknow it was set with the whole mason thing, but story telling wise it was not.) No romance. Just a bad ass guy living with his virtue. The ending is more "gorrie" but just as intense, Sorry I don't want to step on you guys other movies.

Just trying to keep civil converstion until we can chase our hunting dreams.
