Best Inexpensive Can

I put a Jolene S on my kids bolt 6arc. It has a lot of rounds though it and have been very impressed. Tried my FIL’s evo on the same gun as he thought about selling it. Like the sound of the Jolene better.

I have an DD Enticer STi, Resilient Jolene S, Resilient Stacy’s Mom and Griffin Optimus 6. All work well on 6mm cartridges. If weight does not matter the Optimus 6 or Stacy’s Mom would be my choice. They are quiet and designed for 5.56/6mm. If lighter weight is a concern than an Enticer STi if you want 30cal capability. If not, their Wolfhunter should be outstanding can based on their others. The Jolene S is also a great can and is by far the simplest, no nonsense can that works.

I highly recommend you peruse Pew Science. Sort for cans you are considering and for super or subsonic ammo. You may be surprised how many that are recommended on forums, do not score all that great.

I have an Aero Lahar K can and a DDS Enticer S. Both were cheaper than most cans and both interchange between guns. The DDS is more quiet than the Lahar K can.

I've got an original Silencerco Harvester .300 that lives on my 223. It's actually a pretty good can as far as suppression, can't really tell a difference between it and my Ultra 7 on my bigger guns (6 CM, 6.5 CM, etc.). Its long as crap but works well.

The one thing it ain't is "tough", I've had to send it back 3 times for baffle failures. Hence why it lives full time on the 223 now. To be fair, they've repaired it each time for free with about a 1 week turnaround every time.

We have a OCL Polonium K on the daughters 243, and it is a damn impressive can for the money. ESPECIALLY out of a K Can.

I'm trying a Stacy's Mom K. Should be here soon and I'll report back. Will be used on .223, 6x45 and 6 ARC.

It's disappointingly loud on an AR. That's the only thing I have with 1/2 threads. Waiting on a couple adapters to try on bolt guns.

I havent looked for what you want so i cant say for sure. But the DD would get a good look. My YHM Turbo K is surprisingly good and really cheap. The non K might work well for you. Also my Resiliant Stacys Mom K is pretty good and cheap. Maybe the non K would work for you.

I think with no tax and short wight times this is the market we will see that grows the most.

But check the normal established companies like YHM, DD, Resiliant, ECCO, Griffin, Silancerco and so on.

You shouldnt need to pay over 500 or 600. Even my Rex Silentium MG7 might work. I think it was about 350 or 400.

The harvester with the brake on the end?

I have a gemtech tracker 30, a dead air nomad L & primal, and a yhm fat cat.

For what your describing the gemtech fits well, but the nomad l is the better can. Its sub 1k $ compared to 500 for the tracker

The tracker works best on stuff that's 243 / 6.5cm size and smaller. A prc, 25-06 etc needs more volume imho. It works really good on a 17 hornet btw.

Ive had my tracker for i think 3 years now, no issues, fed it alot of 223, 22-250, 243, 6.5 g & cm. Its a good hunters can.
