Best Inexpensive Can

I put a Jolene S on my kids bolt 6arc. It has a lot of rounds though it and have been very impressed. Tried my FIL’s evo on the same gun as he thought about selling it. Like the sound of the Jolene better.

I have an DD Enticer STi, Resilient Jolene S, Resilient Stacy’s Mom and Griffin Optimus 6. All work well on 6mm cartridges. If weight does not matter the Optimus 6 or Stacy’s Mom would be my choice. They are quiet and designed for 5.56/6mm. If lighter weight is a concern than an Enticer STi if you want 30cal capability. If not, their Wolfhunter should be outstanding can based on their others. The Jolene S is also a great can and is by far the simplest, no nonsense can that works.

I highly recommend you peruse Pew Science. Sort for cans you are considering and for super or subsonic ammo. You may be surprised how many that are recommended on forums, do not score all that great.

I have an AB A-10 as my budget can, but after getting the new OG6s, I would consider spending more. It’s short, light.

The A-10 works great and going with the 30 cal adds 1 oz?, and 2 baffles, plus it makes it much more versatile. Really a great can for sub $500.

I have an Aero Lahar K can and a DDS Enticer S. Both were cheaper than most cans and both interchange between guns. The DDS is more quiet than the Lahar K can.

I've got an original Silencerco Harvester .300 that lives on my 223. It's actually a pretty good can as far as suppression, can't really tell a difference between it and my Ultra 7 on my bigger guns (6 CM, 6.5 CM, etc.). Its long as crap but works well.

The one thing it ain't is "tough", I've had to send it back 3 times for baffle failures. Hence why it lives full time on the 223 now. To be fair, they've repaired it each time for free with about a 1 week turnaround every time.
