I have some awesome heavy weight LL Bean thermals but they're getting super old. Everything I've been buying just doesn't match the warmth of the old LL Bean ones. I can't find the replacement at LL Bean. Can anyone recommend a great heavy weight thermal? I use them for camping in the winter snow, prefer in synthetic or merino/synthetic hybrid. Thanks!

I've been using Uniqlo for several years now, for spring and fall hunts in Alaska and winter hunts in the Lower-48. I love them and you can't beat the price.

I have a Cabela's ECWCS Thermal Zone Baselayer, and it gets pretty damn warm. It has different zones for different areas, and I think it's made with Polartec material.

For merino/synthetic hybrid material I like Voormi's stuff.

FL Furnace is great, but if weight, water, or sweat becomes a significant factor I prefer the Polartec/fleece material as well.
