North mississippi Allstars opened for Cheese at High Sierra fest 2015

They played into a thunderstorm with huge lightning. Played until they couldn’t in a downpour with the sky crashing all around.
Seen a lot of great music up in Quincy CA.

Just saw fat boy slim throw down at lighting in a bottle. He’s a legend for good reason knows how to rock a party.

High step society was really good as well.

I don’t really go to tons of “concerts” too expensive and I’d rather take 3-4 days camp out and see nonstop music at a music festival.

My wife's best was Bob Seger in Detroit back in the 70's. My best, not sure. We seen Cold Play back about 10 years here that was cool. My first ever, Van Halen in Milwaukee, 1981, awesome. Seen so many it's hard to remember.

Best hands down was Rebelution and Pepper at a small venue. Close second was Eric Church at a small county fair before he was anybody.

Saw Springsteen at the Augusta Maine Civic Center in 78. Tickets were $6,00, They worked hard for the money.

Metallica 1991 at the Spectrum in Philly. My friend camped out for tickets, and we had floor seats. I'll never forget when they played Sanitarium. People went absolutely insane. Chairs flying, mosh pits, fights, a girl in front of me was thrown through the air and landed on top of me. It was pretty awesome.

Well I have been to a shit ton on concerts and like everything from David Allan Coe,Hank jr,Chris Stapleton to Motley Crue,Metallica pantara but slipknot rocked the house as far as show/act and Pantera with zak wilde last year 10 minutes from my house as far as music performance.

My first concert was Yes touring for the 90125 album.
Seen a lot of hair metal bands back in the day. White Lion absolutely killed it live.
Metallica Master of Puppets tour And Justice For All tours back were great
Kiss the first farewell tour, 96 I think. All the original members, they killed it as well.
Coolest show I’ve been too was the Grand ol Oprey. I’m not a modern country fan at all. We lucked out and they were doing a hurricane relief show and we got 3 hours for the price of 2.
Saw everyone from that whiny ass Tim McGraw to Trace Adkins. Blake Shelton stole the show. He was part of the relief show. When the actual Oprey started he came back out and opened it up. Asked if anyone minded if he played some more. Of course people lost thier minds. He played with just about everyone that night. Trace Adkins was a let down. Acted like he didn’t want to be there. Henry Cho MC’d the show that night. Funny dude.

Montgomery Gentry in a small bar in PA probably 10 years ago. Absolutely the best concert experience and I have been to a lot of concerts.

Second, and I am man enough to admit it, took my daughter to a Taylor Swift concert about 12 years ago before she really hit it huge, her stage performance was exceptional.

Lots of bands mentioned I’ve never heard of.

The most impressive concerts I have seen were Tool, Luke Combs and Taylor Swift - for very different reasons. Barenaked Ladies is always a crowd-pleaser too.

Garth Brooks puts on a hell of a concert. Probably the only one that I felt like I truly got my moneys worth. He sang for three hours.

Went to Brooks and Dunn the other week. It was really good. I was very surprised how well they did.

In 1996 I saw Chris Ledoux perform in a little bar (maybe 200 people) on the OK-KS border when he was driving between Kansas City and Dallas or somewhere. He stopped for a day and did 2 concerts that evening. He told everyone that he wanted to stop so some of the folks in those ranching communities could attend a concert since he know people most would not be take time off and drive 6 hours for a concert. It was a great concert being in such as small gathering and he seemed like a very nice and genuine person.

In the late 80s in Oklahoma I saw Alan Jackson perform on a flatbed truck they pulled out into a rodeo arena after the rodeo. It was a wild concert and a great time.

Other great concerts were Garth Brooks in 1992, Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2013, and Mana (Mexican rock group) in 2012.

Hank III at First Avenue in Mpls was the wildest show I've ever been to. I remember thinking "someone is definitely getting stabbed tonite". Just had that vibe, coulda been the Hells Angels standing by the door, but the whole place smelled of spilled whiskey and vomit, fights kept starting, it was great.

Whiskey Myers is the only band I actively try and see when they are local. Always a good time.

I think Jason Isbell probably put on the best show I have been seen. He is a very talented musician.

I got to see the second to last show of mewithoutyou in a tiny venue in my hometown last year. Pretty great show that was sentimental and exciting.
