Same here...late season hunt consisted this year of snow shoes, otter sled, with blind, chair, bow, pack, saw, and small shovel. 1 blind was right at a mile up over a large ridge. Had to dig waist deep to set the blind on solid ground and this is fairly common for one of my late season hunts. Made for a hidden blind though with snow right up under the window...and warm. 1 blind was 3/4 mile and the 3rd was within 200yds of where I could get the truck. Should have mentioned I'm not buying a chair for each blind. I usually bring the chair in and out.15lbs...I hunt over a mile from the truck quite regularly. This is more than I'm willing to carry.
No way I'm pulling an extra 10 ish pounds over my current chair.
