What optic? Zeiss Conquest, GPO Passion, Leica Trinovid, anything else that compares? Please be specific as to which. My biggest negative thought on Leica is not being able to mount to a tripod without an adaptor. I have looked through Leica and Zeiss at the store but not in low light in the woods. Not able to get my hands on GPO but see all the good reviews. I don’t care about resale as I don’t plan on selling them any time soon. Thanks for the help.

I think Maven has some in that range as well. More options.

I’m a huge fan of my vortex razors, can be had for around that price if you look around. I’ve never looked through the others binos mentioned so thats my bias opinion on what I own. Good binos though

I think you’d be crazy to not lay your eyes on a Monarch 7 in 10x42. It’s like a tall glass of water for your retinas.

I recommend searching the forum. There are many threads on the topic, and Leica can be mounted on a tripod either with a strap type mount or an Outdoorsman.

Conquests for that price range. Great glass. Trinovids are solid as well. Look through them both and see which one you like better.

Zeiss Conquest, were what I could afford at time, but will be selling eventually to move up to Swar ELs. Corbland gave good advice above, look thru several to see what your eyes like. Definite difference in coatings and what works best for you. Also, YES on using tripod, reduces strain.

I’d seriously consider the B2 line from Maven. I have a pair of 9x45 and they’re incredible. They also offer a demo program which lets you try them out and if you don’t like them, then send them back.

My research suggest Maven, Its almost show season, get to a show and get them in your hands, they do show specials as well. If money is rite im gonna pick up the 8x32's this year.

Would love to get my hands on some different options but no one comes to any of the shows here in Idaho. I have to go down to Salt Lake, Utah to attend a big enough show to see the big vendors.

How different are the Meostar from the Cabelas Euros? Can’t imagine Meopta would build them to the same quality. I don’t know of anyone here in Boise, Idaho that has them Meopta in stock and could only get my hands on Cabelas Euro.

Maven came to a small show in my town last year, I was surprised, the had a show list on Facebook I think.
I looked at the cabelas euro, the glass was good but the ergonomics sucked for me.
Soon as I held them up I knew they weren't for me.
