Best binoculars around $1000

How different are the Meostar from the Cabelas Euros? Can’t imagine Meopta would build them to the same quality. I don’t know of anyone here in Boise, Idaho that has them Meopta in stock and could only get my hands on Cabelas Euro.

They are the same. Cabelas actually offers the HD in more models too.

Meopta meostar and cabelas euro are optically identical. My understanding was that Meopta wouldn't honor the Warranty on the Euros. It had to go through Cabelas. I'm pretty sure somebody on here said they had no issues with Meopta doing warranty work. On their euros. Its something I would look into.

I was torn between Meostars and Nikon Hg . I went with Nikon they are not as big and bulky , more compact and felt over all better in my hands, the glass was similar to my eyes. Very happy so far

Meopta MeoStar B1.1 is a good glass well within your budget.

However if you prioritize geometry and weight specs higher on your list, then you may be better served with something else... MeoStars have some heft ( generally 2-3 oz more) over similar bins - which helps with a steady view, but they aren't for everyone. They are built like a tank, and with that comes a slight trade off in weight. They are really short binos though, shorter than most 10x42s etc.

I would say without a doubt MeoStars are better optically than Razors. In fact I'd consider most of the others mentioned over the often hyped Razors (yes- i've owned them both).
