Silky BigBoy, great balance between size, cutting and weight.

As others have said, this brand works well. This is the one I use.

The only caveat is the saw needs a lock to keep it closed just like it has a lock to keep it open.

I solve that problem with gumbands, but it's rather annoying a quality saw is missing this key function.

I saw an article a while back where the guy was saying the only thing he uses winter camping is a Fiskars ratcheting lopper. His take was that it could cut anything up to 1 1/2 inches thick which for the small packable stoves was about as big as he wanted anyway.

X2 for the sven saw. Its done well for me. 15" is 11oz

That's my technique too. Never been in an area I actually needed to cut wood. Typically just find enough laying around or low hanging dead branches.

Sven saw. Comes in two sizes, the larger is easier to use but the smaller one is adequate.

Back when I was buying stupid light gear for way too much money…. It is 4.5oz for a 12” real saw, so theres that. Bigger the round, longer the burn. Breaking 4”+ rounds by hand or foot gets old, and i can cut the perfect length to fit.
