Looking for any insight on the best all around atv tire you guys have used? Going on a Kodiak 700 Yamaha. Primarily used for hunting.
alot of miles on gravel roads. Good snow performance is something that also matters.

Kenda Bear Claw HTR. It’s a lightweight 8 ply tire that performs in almost every condition. Super tough, long lasting. Haven’t wore out a set yet but man can they take some serious abuse on my 100hp Renegade 1000. I have been using them on a bunch of machines for many years now.

I picked up a set of Sunfs for my pioneer 520. They are heavier than the stock ones, but i did go from 24” to 27”. Also they are 8plys and seem to be holding up well to the sharp mine dump rock we have around here in northern MN. I’ve done well in mud and rock climbing. Pick them up off of Amazon for $440 shipped.

Run a fleet of 20 atvs totalling about 30k miles annually. I occasionally experiment with other tires, but keep coming back to Maxxis Bighorns. They cost about as much a truck tires now, so would be great to find something cheaper but as reliable.

I put these on. Been a good tire

100,000+ on Bighorns. BUT, do not get the 2's or 3's. Get the OG Bighorns. When we were still riding ATV's there were about a group of 15 of us, we all had the OG Bighorns. They wear like iron and they handle the snow great. When we rode in Idaho in the early spring and people thought we were test engineers for Maxxis. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

I would recommend the 29-11x14, they have the largest footprint when deflated for the snow. When we road just snow we pulled the valve core and when there was no air you put a foot on the tire and pushin and put the core back in.

My son still has my original 02 Grizz 660 that he put Bighorns on in 06 and after over 8,000 miles they are still on and are at about 40% thread.
