Anyone familiar with Arc'teryx pants? I read rave reviews about their stuff and want to start integrating pieces into my kit. Tried a fleece last year and loved it... I'm always after a great pair of pants and figured they have to have at least one. Looking for something in a Prana zion type weight... Maybe lighter or heavier depending how awesome the pant is.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with the AT but I have the Gamma SL Hybrid and Perimeter that I use for warm weather rock climbing and hiking. I also have the Beta AR and Alpha SL and they are absolutely bomber for foul weather. . . I use them year round for hiking, Back Country Skiing, Mountaineering, Ice climbing and hunting. I also run the Beta LT jacket and Rush Jacket for "bring it on" any weather protection.

I have a pair of the gen 2 combat pants from the Arcteryx L.E.A.F. line. They are a heavier weight schoeller fabric, but bomber construction, muted earth tones, and great pocket layout without being too tight. They also don't look very tactical, so I have no problems wearing them ice climbing, mountaineering, as well as hunting. They are a little noisy for archery season, but I love them for rifle season. Look for them on sale or ebay, though - full price is a killer!

I can't remember what mine are called. They're the lighter weight nylon ones. They are way comfortable, durable, and handle moisture really well. I love the pocket layout too.

Reviving this thread... Still trying to see if they make anything that might fall in between a Prana zion and kuiu attack for weight/warmth.

I know this is an old thread, but can you research your email receipts or where you bought your Arcteryx pants? I am looking for a lightweight option..currently looking at the Arcteryx "Sidewinder SV" (severe weather) and they 100% nylon made in Canada..brand new with tags..these are an older model from 2009 I think..
